  1. Funny isn’t it – any reduction in using while on OST is considered a success yet the advocates of OST so often look at abstinence and recovery based treatment and charge that any use even a single lapse in the space of 3 year follow up indicates treatment failure.

    1. Hilarious, yes. Harm reduction treatment–they have it so easy, don’t they? If we abstainers start indulging even once in three years, we’re no longer abstinent, by definition. Maybe we could change the meaning of the word “abstinence” to include periodic lapses…. Then we’d beat them.
